About our Online Food Safety Training Course
Professional Bartending Schools of America (PBSA) is a group of independently owned bartending schools that now train over 10,000 bartenders and managers each year, including over 1,500 in Florida.
PBSA has partnered with Learn2Serve, the leading online training provider in the US, to offer alcohol certification and food worker/manager training classes and certification online. The advantage of taking the Florida Food Safety training course online is that you may do so cheaply, at your own time and pace in the comfort of your own home. Our online Florida food safety course thoroughly covers the material in 8 hours and can replace classroom sessions that may run up to 16 hours in length.
Online Food Safety Managers Course Below
The Florida Food Safety Manager Certification course was produced by Learn2serve, the nations largest online hospitality training provided with over 350,000 online courses provided.
The Florida Food Safety Manager Certification course successfully prepares food safety managers to pass any ANSI-CFP* nationally accredited certification examination - including the National Restaurant Association (ServSafe®), Experior®, and the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals®.More importantly, the materials are presented in ways that ensure both managers and handlers will remember the food safety principles long after training has taken place. After the course you will be provided with contact information to register to take an ANSI-CFP approved exam in a classroom setting, as required by Florida law.
After taking the course, you may make arrangement s to take the Florida Food Safety Exam at any National Restaurant Association testing center located throghout Florida. The test are held monthly in major Florida Cities and at many community colleges.
Many traditional classes are just not available to us without taking time off from work and missing the pay that goes along with it, which can make the classroom training very expensive. Many food and beverage employees are working when the traditional corporate worker is getting ready for bed. Unlike other training classes, this new course is interactive and uses animation mixed with live action video. The live action portions were filmed and edited at Drexel University in Pennsylvania. The action portions contain likeable dynamic characters that "elevate you from a training exercise to a show, almost a sitcom."
